Hi
WE had someone suggest that wew should cover the electric tongue jack to protect from weather.  IS any one doing this?  If so wha are you using?
Thanks

I have the Stromberg Carlson jack. It looks like it is really sealed. The 2 toggle switch covers might were out but that will be from use. I have only had mine for a few months. Be interesting to hear others thoughts.

Mine came with one. Not very durable but still there. Both etrailer and Camping world sell them, around 10 bucks. I keep mine on.

I have a Stromberg Carlson as well and I just put a $1 plastic bucket upside down over it

 mcarter,
when I'm towing I don't worry about having it covered. I use the bucket when the trailer is parked. The bail on the bucket slips under the motor and keeps it from blowing off on windy days

Mine came with a cover. That got lost when we had our accident in December. I forgot to put it back on after we got the R-Pod hitched to the tow truck that had our Escape on it. I found a replacement, but it was huge. I modified it to make it fit more like the original one. Once it is on and the cords cinched up, it stays on just fine. How durable it is remains to be seen. I just think the jack head will last longer covered than uncovered since it will keep the sun's UV rays from degrading the plastic so quickly.

Yes, I put an old bucket on it. My neighbor liked my idea and puts a bucket on his. When the bucket sun-rots, just put on a new one. Cheap and simple.

It even keeps the tow chains off the ground and the tow chains stop it from flying away in the wind. Tongue

Ours came with a soft vinyl cover, which is nice because we can leave it on all the time, even when operating the jack. It never gets lost that way.
