I have a question for all of you that have done modifications.  What is the best way to attach things to the walls.  Are you using wall anchors?

I think the best way is not to attach anything. The second best way is use velcro and avoid making holes!

Madmojo,

If mounting into a hollow area of wall, most of us use wall anchors, select an appropriate length as to not interfere with outside skin. Take some pre-planning as a hole drilled is hard to cover-up if not needed in future. There are no studs in a Pod, if you can use an aluminum tube do so, you can find them with a stud finder. There are instances where you have to use anchors for any load bearing capability, be prudent and plan ahead.

I think I'm the only pod owner that has added many cabinets towel bars ets, but nobody beliefs that I have not used a single wall anchor 7th season and everything is still on the wall.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

For stuff that's not too heavy and for those plastic hooks 3M makes a double sided mounting tape that seems to work pretty well.

They also make one that  has a higher capacity, but I haven't tried it.

Screws.  We've attached lot of things to the walls using screws.  Use # 8 or #10 screws just long enough to penetrate the paneling completely
