About this site...how does one post a new question to the forum? I can't find anything like "post a topic" or "post a new?". I only see how to post a reply, so how to start another discussion. I have many questions about our rpod.

What do you mean by CBs? One in the converter and one in the water heater?

That works. You can also open the cover outside and use the lever on the pressure relief valve to vent any air and make sure it is full. If you do this, it should be before you turn the heat source on so you don't scald yourself. We all were new at this once. You will learn as you go. The more you use things, the more comfortable you will be doing so. |

Yes, as long as you have confirmed the bypass valve doesn't bypass the water heater, make sense?

Hey WillyBob,
If not on a 110 power source the heater can be propane heated, that's the switch not in your converter. If on 110 the CBs you need are the one in the converter and the one inside the water heater compartment. Just make sure you have water in the heater. If the fresh water tank is full, use the water pump, otherwise put city water on. |

Oh, and how do you know the hot tank is full? I turned the pump on and opened the hot faucet in the sink and in the shower and eventually the pump shut off. Tank full then?

So our pod is in the driveway. If not plugged into power, what heats the water? If I plug into power is the water heater operating off of 110? And, when camping, is the heat source for the water propane then? Sure feel like a pod dummie here!!

Just make sure the water heater is full prior to turning on the electric element or burn out will occur. With gas, no big deal.
