Welcome to the r-pod Owners forum. We created this forum to allow the owners of the hottest small camper on the market to share their camping experiences in the r-pod. Please no dealers are allowed to submit promotional posts. This is soley an owners forum.

While we welcome all to participate in the forums - we must have rules and here they are:

1. All people who wish to post on rpod-owners.com must register:

Registration requirements:
  • Full real name in profile (may use alias as screen name, you can elect to not show your real name).
  • Valid email address - account activation will not proceed without email validation.
Note: You will have the option for your name to remain private and not be visible to the public.

We reserve the right to
censor, remove, or delete ANY post that appears on rpod-owners.com.

  • While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
  • Do NOT mention another community member by name - unless they hold a public position within the community. This is not a forum for airing grievances. You may refer to an individual by their public position - ie, school board member, HS math teacher, etc. - but again, you may not post an overtly negative message that is based on hearsay, gossip, or unsubstantiated facts.
  • No offensive language, off-color words or variations of such will be tolerated.
  • No personal attacks towards members of the community. This includes name calling, slander, etc. It will not be tolerated. Posts which are found to be offensive WILL be removed and the offending party will be notified, future occurrences will result in account deactivation.
  • No unsubstantiated allegations towards any person, place or thing. Please cite your sources clearly.
  • Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.
  • Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
  • Personal opinions are welcome, but must be phrased as such. IMHO = In My Humble Opinion!
  • Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.
  • Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.
  • We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate community standards. We, rpod-owners.com, shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
  • Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
  • Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
  • Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
  • You cannot post any links to offensive material. Such posts will be subject to removal.
  • You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.
  • We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our community forums are a privilege and not a right.
All New members will be requested to list their name in their profile. Individual posts that violate the rules will be deleted.

We hope that this forum becomes a valuable place for us to share our concerns, ideas, and desires to make the r-pod owners community a better place for all...

Happy Camping!

There have been several reminders over the years about keeping discussions about religion, politics, and guns off of this forum.  Do a search on all forums here with no date limit for those words and you'll see it.  I don't see this policy officially mentioned here, so I will do it in this post.

Personally I'm passionate about all of these topics, and I talk about them a lot - elsewhere.  But any time they are brought up on forums like this the discussions quickly escalate to shouting matches and hurt feelings.

So let's keep these discussions off of this forum.  Thanks.

+1. We have a diverse group of members, with faiths/beliefs/positions across the whole spectrum. Each is valued. We focus on our common interest of Rpods, TT and camping. The contentious matters are to be expressed and debated in some other venue, not here. This forum was not created, nor does it exist as a platform for anyone to make political/religious statements or state their political/religious views (same with weapons and sex matters). This applies to all public areas of the forum. The public area of the forum is simply defined as : Anything other than Private Mail, which is viewable by only the sender and the recipient.
