Ok  I called camp store today and got site 85. That site  looks better

as of right now, in the rally area, there are 7 sites open. Call the park.

This is correct, they forgot to turn the page to see the last 10 sites we had reserved/held. Call the number I posted, they have been good at getting it sorted out.

Just my 2 cents worth, but have you looked at a campground map? Below is a link to a map.

Site 40 does not get you much closer to the Rally sites. The sites reserved for the rally were 1 - 10; 42 - 51; 77 - 86; 108 - 117. When I made my reservation, the man I spoke with said there was only one of the rally sites left. If you can not get that site, maybe you can get another site a little closer to the Rally group.

C205 would not be one of the sites reserved for the rally.. (in fact, it's as about as far as you can be from it) You can call back, following the instructions given, and move to the rally area if you want, the only way you would be in C205 is if you used Reserve America, which we are NOT using for the rally.
