Our new 176T pulling with a 2008 Land Rover LR2. It does ok, but I'm definitely getting something bigger/beefier next year to accommodate longer trips and battling steep grades. ![]() |

At Jetty Park this weekend, I ran into a guy pulling an RP-175 with a 4-cylinder car. Didn't get too much of a chance to chat as I was at the dump station getting ready to pull out and he was just checking in.

Hello,
We have a 2013 Wrangler Sport Unlimited. We are concerned that some suggest it would not work as a rpod tow vehicle. Do you have one of those stabilizer tow bars? How does your vehicle + trailer work on Hills. We live in Lacey, WA so would be going up and down our NW hills. I would appreciate any evaluation you might offer. Thanks, Clint Duncan |

Hello Bob,
We have a 2013 Wrangler Sport Unlimited and are considering purchasing a Rpod. We have heard mixed tails about towing. What are you evaluations. Do you use a tow stabilizer bar. Electric Brakes? We live in WA so as you do go up and down hills if we go far. If you have time, please give us your thoughts. Thanks, Clint Duncan |

We have a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited and pull a 171 and it does OK in the hills definitely slows down and you notice the headwind but it is very stable I do not have a sway type it's just a load leveling hitch. I Weighed the trailer and it was 3120 pounds with water in it and our stuff so we are close to the max towing ability of the jeep. I love having the ability to park it in small camp spots and then being able to go off-roading, love it
