2017 RPod 180 and 2016 Toyota Tacoma. The Tacoma, so far, tows the RPod like a champ. The dealer recommended weight distribution system / sway control device is being used. Although, the device does not work as the dealer promised (i.e. no adjustments necessary and no need to turn off sway control when reversing into a campsite; dealer was wrong on both counts). Once we figured out how to work the device we were good to go.

I have a 1994 F-150 4x4 with a 5.0 V-8 with 304,000 miles and 31 deer kills.  I don't count the ones I hit and they run off.  Anyway, normal mileage is 15 mpg, when hauling 375 cfm air compressors or other 'Big" stuff, mileage on mine is around 10-11.  Also have a standard stick, am on my second clutch as this is a work truck, wood hauling truck, golf cart hauling truck, ect.  The compressor weighs in at 3800 lbs.

Howdy, anyone out there towing with a Ford F-150 XLT crew cab 5.0? We have a 2014 (been our tow vehicle for our boat for the past couple years) and I am interested to see what kind of gas mileage and "feel" folks been having with the old v-8. Ours is built for this from the factory with Ford tow package, 4x4, off road package, etc. We already have the electronic break controller and all the bells and whistles.

Anyone else out there towing with similar?

For some reason this thread "unsticks" itself every once in a while.  Then I have to track it down and "restick" it.
