Personally I think we are being a little dramatic. None of us has the abilty to stop a post on this forum, nor has anyone been stopped on this forum, except those that genuinely violated the rules. Always for good cause in my experience. Some issues the opinions never change, I'm as guilty as anyone. It's my Pod, and I have my opinions. There are times I wish folks would use the archives, but if in doubt post. Unless the subject is just out there somewhere, I have never seen anybody not get at least an answer. You won't find that on any other Pod forum, and I am a member on all of them I think. This is as good as it gets. I haven't seen better. Post or answer, camp on. Dead horses or live chickens.

You are absolutely right, this is the best Rpod forum out there. There is a wealth of information here and you all have helped me with learning about my Pod. I sincerely apologize for resurrecting this old horse.

When I said it was time for me to move on, I meant to a new mod or project.

I too am guilty of not scouring the archives as thoroughly as I should and will try to do better in the future.

Amen, I got into a conversation on another forum, subject was lemon laws, the ADMIN cut it off. Done. I've never seen that happen here. I'm not innocent, but we get a say here.

I'll add my thoughts on the matter...…….

The forum has been around nearly 10 years now. Just about EVERYTHING connected to Rpodding has been discussed at least once. Many things come up with frequency. Let's try to keep in mind that we were all "newbies" at one time, with lots of questions of our own. We learned by trial/error and/or some kind soul chose to share their wisdom. That which might seem obvious to the seasoned veteran can be a mystery to the person just starting out.

The forum exists as a helpful resource and knowledge base. However, it is more than that. It is also a place to enjoy the fellowship of kindred spirits. The more folks that join in the conversation the better. I implore you to continue your tradition of gentle and helpful instruction, when needed. At other times, relax and enjoy the friendship and good conversation of those who like and enjoy one of the same things that you do.

I would NEVER discourage anyone from asking questions. They are edified in the helpful responses and the "helpers" are edified in the satisfaction of aiding - everyone wins.

In as much as we can, let us help one another and live in peace with one another. Life is short and precious.
