Unofficially they cannot be added to an existing R-Pod.
On the new ones you select either the R-Dome track or the Awning to be installed.

I finally purchase my new R pod 180 in June and I love it!
 Had it in for a 90 day checkup and what do I see on the lot?!? A new 2017 model WITH AN AWNING!  Has anyone found out if they can be added to an existing Rpod and how much $$$  |
