For you Florida podders, I grew up, lived and worked al my life in S. Fl.
I used to sell a lot of Dampp-Chasers they worked good for Fl. high humidity. Needs 120v. http://www.dampp-chaser.com/

In the colder snowy/icy times of the year mine is closed and I just cycle my damp rid more often. I have the FF upgrade with the rain sensor that opens/closes it the rest of the year, but with ice chances I don't want it getting frozen in the open position or anything.
