That's been my dream for a long time now, my own island ahhh.  Well you can try Lafayette, Louisiana it is about 15 miles north of me and has a pop. of about 200,000 so it should have that, but New Iberia is not a small town, it is considered a city ~30,000. New Iberia is the same place that Tobasco sauce is made (Avery Island).
I can't even begin to describe it.... you would just have to see for yourself....

Okay, I found your city and placed the marker manually.  The island straight south of you, a national wildlife area, is where the program wanted to put you.  I know what you mean about living on a small island.  I have always dreamed of doing that.  It could be a river, lake or ocean I don't care.  Well, maybe not an ocean unless it has some high elevations.
