Wisconsin Pod Gathering?

We just returned from a week on Washington Island with our Pod, and had a great week.  Dar had a class at a fiber arts school on the Island, and I hung out and relaxed. I didn't hang out like another member here does, fyi.  That is frowned upon on the Island.

While my mind was idle, I thought that maybe we could have a gathering of the pods on Washington Island.

Positives:

1. A good, well maintained campground.
2. Friendly welcoming locals.
3. Historic sightseeing
4. Great birdwatching
5. Nature trails
6. Several good restaurants

Negatives:

1. It is at the end of a 90 mile peninsula.
2. No water parks, kids rides, or rock concerts.
3. Requires a round trip ferry ride (Round trip, two adults, tow vehicle, 20' camper cost $80.00)

If there is enough interest I will contact the campground and negotiate a price.  We paid $35.00 per night with electric and water hookups.

So let me know what you think.  I was thinking about soon after Labor Day, but am open.

No date set, but soon after Labor day would work best for me. When would work for you?

I suggested after labor day.  I stay home on the big weekends.

We would be game, we had to cancel our plans to attend a mini rally over the Labor Day weekend on account of our son moving into his college dorm that weekend.
