Topic: Posting Pictures Posted: 05 Aug 2018 at 5:31pm |
Can someone please point me in the right direction about how to post pictures on the forum. I did know in the past, but i recall that the system/process has changed. I have finished a lot of mods on our "new to us" 179 and would like to post pictures and help other podders with some ideas.
Thanks Vann

Here is way I do it:
Go to postimage.org
select a removal time
open a picture source
choose the image
Go to "Hotlink for Forums"
Click the blue folder icon
Should indicate "copied"
return to post
Control 1 image at a time
Hope this helps. I had to write it down.

It looks like whatever you did worked. The picture seems different than what you used to have.
The first time posting pictures seems a bit awkward but, after a time or two, it's really not too bad.

Which means I can't see any of them at work because of my paranoid IT department. I can get to postimage.org, but all the photos come from postimg.cc, which is blocked.

Sorry.. but we have no control over what you see at work.. LOL. The 3rd party hosting method is just about as easy as it gets for people to use. I am on a couple forums that allow direct posting and host the image on their servers.. that costs money. I also think that is part of the draw of the FB group. Image posting is easy peasy there also.
