Most impressive Mark! You have now entered the "GLAMPING world." I am looking at all the extras this thing has that our 177 does NOT like: A/C, television, entertainment system, microwave, convection oven, power jack, dry bath, an extra 9 feet length and nearly 2 feet wider, and the list could go on and on. Hope you stay around on this site, a lot of us depend on your 'expertise' with our lowly pods. Have a great winter; ours just started last weekend as we got our first snow. A town about 20 miles SE of us (Kalkaska) got just over 10 inches. They are off to a great start.

We recently purchased a 2016 Lance 1685 travel trailer. Currently on our third trip, and I am just amazed and delighted. Too much to explain but would suggest if anyone is looking to trade up, this is one great trailer. Weighs about 4k lbs. and we can still pull it with our Pathfinder.

| Leo, you can't have a Lance. The paint on your 179 isn't dry yet .

The Gulfstream Vista Cruiser 19ERD was on our short list before buying an R-pod. Excellent lay out, fit and finish. Bigger fridge and full bathrooms. It also comes in a pretty cool Retro finish that I liked but the wife didn't. Was a little out of our budget tho.

We just came back from a two week trip to the Seattle area. We flew out and motel-ed it. Noticed a LOT of campers out there so we took a detour and visited Pacific Travel Center in Tacoma. Kevin, the owner, took a lot of time to show us the line of Lance campers. The quality of materials and workmanship was impressive. One neat feature was that the AC is 9,000 BTUs and can run off a 2000 watt generator. There's a compartment in the front that coincidentally fits a Honda 2000 watt generator. Nice planning. If he were nearby, or even somewhat closer, we'd buy from him in a minute. 2800 miles is a bit of a stretch though. We'll check out locals in the coming months. Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread. It's been a great resource.
