The Thetford Aqua-Magic V toilet now fails to flush, and also the valve leaks into the bowl causing it to overflow. Anyone else experienced this ? Any known successful repairs ? I've heard of repeated problems with this. Some have replaced the toilet altogether with a Dometic toilet. Should have gone longer than a year and a half before failing I hould think. Not happy - of course I'm 2400 miles from home.

That actually sounds like something caught in or clogging the valve. It's removable and replaceable. It's a "cassette style" part.. Pretty simple to pull and check/backflush, or replace. Here is a link to the replacement.. cheaper then a new toilet..

Thanks for the tip. I'm opting for caution and replacing the toilet. Thankfully CamperWorld a few miles away (Rogers Mn) had a new one and will replace it tomorrow.
