We have a Jeep Cherokee with back up camera.  We got the full manual to see how to remove the camera.  Unfortunately I cannot find a replacement camera and it uses a non standard plug.  The idea is to add a camera to the RPOD and run the cable to the Jeep and splice in a switch.  Then whenever I attache the RPOD I merely slide the switch and switch to my rear RPOD view instead of the rear Jeep view.  Sounds like a great idea but my dealer cannot get individual parts only the entire back up system.  So still searching for the parts.  But if your truck can be adapted may be better than having two screens up front

Hi DLuke!  I am new to the forum and to R-Pods as well.  Just got a 177 a few weeks ago and before leaving on a solo trip from AZ to Teton National Park I purchased a portable back up camera for the Pod. The one I bought has a super strong magnet that fits perfect in the spare wheel well. I put it on and off as needed. Its wireless and connects via its own wifi to a small display that plugs into a cigarette lighter / power in your car/truck.  It worked great and the price was reasonable.  I purchased the Rear View Safety RVS 83112.  For a new RV'er and traveling with just my pup - it was great having "eyes" on the back of the Pod when backing up!

DLuke - I also have a Colorado, I am not aware of a rear view RV camera that would adapt to the existing display.  I have looked at several sites that offer RV cameras and from what I have seen they differ greatly in prices and technology, in every case they have their own display.  Not hard to do, just matter of how much you want to spend, certainly available.

I don't have my R-Pod yet but that hasn't stopped me from window shopping and list making.  In the process I came across a Garmin unit https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/on-the-road/rv/rv-660lmt/prod524447.html that you can add a wireless backup camera to.  I thought it looked pretty interesting and gets good reviews.

New Rpod'er here (180), just returned from second trip. The built-in backup camera on our 2016 Chevy Colorado is fantastic for hitching up, and has me dreaming about a rear view camera for the Rpod backside as our side mirrors are just adequate. Does anyone have experience or advice?
