Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. You're right, Julie, there is a lot of great info here. You can do it! As I told the rv dealer when he asked how much experience we had, "I don't even know which end hitches to my truck." I think we're going to take it a few miles up the road this weekend to test at a nearby campground, and hopefully learn more.

Trotwood, I can relate. At least there appear to be two of you to figure things out; I'm on my own (and, like you, "don't have a clue"). I don't even have a driveway as I live in a condo in the middle of the city. But, hopefully like you, this seems like the right next path for me. There's so much help on this forum that it makes me think I CAN do this. I think I'm going for a new 2016 178 pulled with a 2008 F150. Good luck to you!

You will find a wealth of information on this forum to work/plan your way into camping with your 180. Welcome and enjoy this forum and especially your pod as you travel across this great land.

I've been reading but I feel like I'll need to get it parked in my driveway before I can really figure it out.

We also just got ours about 5 weeks ago and it was our first RV too. With help from this forum and Facebook we feel we have done well.
I am in the process of several mods ( modifications ) that will personalize it for us.
There is plenty of awesome help here.........just spend some time looking through all of the past posts and click on others mods and you will start to figure it all out.
We are still learning everyday.
Have Fun

Sometimes with our two small dogs, Jangles and Barry.  We have camped with a tent and also a pop up for many years. This is a new experience for us. We love nature, been to A lot of the national parks as a family, and most recently Alaska three times my husband and myself. We flew into Anchorsge and rented a suv and explored. I'm hoping we get to haul our r pod there in future.

Welcome and congratulations
