I have just purchased an 'unowned' 2014 181G, my first camper ever. I can't take delivery until early May when I will hit the road from Southern Oregon>Northern Utah. I've been wandering the forum, making a checklist of what to examine & it's getting long! Going through techntrek's list for maintenance/technical fixes is helping, but I wonder if anyone already has a list? Don't know if they'll be letting me check 'under the covers ' for lose or ill-fitting connectors, missing bolts, etc. but I don't want to end up on the side of the road on the 'loneliest highway in the U.S.' in Nevada!

Also, I was going to create a tool bag including replacement items that I should have redundancy on? Any suggestions on likely 'points of failure'?

Exciting to join the podder-world!

Welcome and congratulations on your new Pod!

I could answer "anything and everything". However, most have few problems and you could go for years and not need anything.

I have found it handy to carry (smoking) pipe cleaners to clean bugs and webs out of gas orifices and many other uses. Of course, duct tape is mandatory.
