Travis, when FR sent me the materials for this little project, they included a roll of tape that matches three wallboard.  Not sure what it's for unless to put around the edges of the wallboard I'll use to cover the hole where the sink was.  Can you confirm?
Thanks in advance ..

edit: removed odd code that appeared below the post - techntrek

1) There are about 6 screws on the skirt piece that is below the sink, remove them.

2) Pull the skirt off, it should pop easily away from the caulk.

3) Underneath the sink you will now see the P-Trap.  You can unscrew the sink pieces for the drain and them pull away the actual sink part.

4) Now this depends on the size of your hole in the way and whether or not your pipes are joined pieces that might have to be cut or pieces that are just screwed together.  But you'll need to get the remaining pipe into the wall and put a cap securely on it so that you won't be plagued by vent gasses come up and escaping out of the hole.

5) Clean away all the old caulk, a straight blade, bit of cleaner solution, lots of elbow grease will get you close to the goal.

6) Finish up, add your wallboard to cover the hole, use some of the sink screws to attach it to the existing board and seal everything with your clear, or ivory or almond, whatever color waterproof caulk you've decided to use.

7) Shower in style the next time you're out Podding.
