BTW, to do the hoses, I use about a quarter teaspoon of bleach in the water bottle, and it only needs to sit for an hour. And the water bottle will just about fill a 25 foot hose. Then I just swish and swing the hose a bit with it coupled to itself, let sit, rinse.

In the post you quoted, I am specifically talking about, and referring to, the white drinking water safe hoses, 25 foot in length.
