Howdy in Wisconsin, Keith-N-Dar!
I am a Carpinteria graduate as well, class of '88! Of course, Carpinteria State Park is my first choice for camping...beach row, here we go! We are going to throw the stand up paddle boards into Our-Pawd through the tent window and cruise up and down the coast between Ventura, CA ad Bellingham, WA (the in-laws live up in the PNW). Bring your pod over to the beach! ;0)

I grew up a few miles up 101 from you in Summerland. I went to High School in Carpinteria. I have been living in Wisconsin for a long time now but once in a while like the thought of California again (like when I am moving snow and it is -10). |

Hello, everyone!
I've have been lurking on and off for a few months as we got ready to make our first travel trailer purchase...the information here was invaluable, so here's a BIG thank you! We purchased a 2015 R-Pod 176T in Southern California and brought it home on Thursday with our 2013 Honda Pilot 4WD. It is just great! Now...I get to spend more time researching and shopping to find just the right "everything" to make it our second home. We chose the hottest week in March!!! to bring it home and enjoyed test camping in the front yard with the AC on during this heatwave...it was so nice! (our house does not have AC) Gearing up for short trips to local beach and lake campgrounds...I look forward to sharing with you and, even better, learning from you! Here is a pic of Our-Pawd!  |
