We bought the Magma induction capable set of nesting cookware. One reason we really like it is that the handles lock on to the pans when installed. The pans can even be turned upside-down without falling off. It is unlike the old set we used to have where if the pan were tipped, it would fall of and spill everything.
A second reason we bought this set is that we carry an induction cooker and we wanted something that could be used on gas and induction. We also wanted something that was heavy-duty and not something thin and flimsy. The Magma cookware would compare very favorably with any quality stainless-steel cookware that would be desired for one's kitchen. The disk bottoms are heavy enough to distribute heat evenly. To round out the set, we did buy a steamer/colander that fits the set although it does not nest with them. We also carry one non-stick skillet for things like eggs although if the Magma pan is used with some type of grease, either bacon, butter, or oil, eggs won't stick. We also purchased a stainless steel teakettle which is induction capable. We can use it on the induction cooktop or on the stove depending on whether we are on shore power or boondocking. |

This is a great idea for small rpoders. The pans that you've brought will allow you too cook different stuff from fry to saute.

I never go anywhere with Grandma's old iron skillet! 50+ years of seasoning and it's almost perfect!
Nothing like eggs and bacon in gma's iron skillet under the dome....and hashbrowns, skillet fried steak... ![]() fred

Addicted to thrift for pod needs has discovered I can out-fit my Pod eventually by frequenting my local thrift stores. Recently found an 8" and 10" cast iron skillet, seasoned and ready to use at $8 and $10. Yippee! I love my Cobb Grill on the picnic table for easy access. Bending over open fire is just too hard on this back of mine.

We did the same thing and bought an entire nesting pot set. West Marine has some really nice ones by Stansport and Magma. Ours is the discontinued Cuisinart Stow-8.
If you plan on using these on the grill or on an open flame, make sure to get the ones with metal handles or at the very least wrap in foil to help prevent warping. |

We did the exact same thing. Next year I am replacing the alumium fry pan with a cast Iron one. I always like frying over open flame with cast Iron pans.

because of the limeted space in the cabinet below the sink in the r-pod 177 we bought nesting pans with steamer. and one non stick ceramic 12 inch frying pan for easy clean up. wipe clean with paper towel and wash in the sink.
