I will try to upload pics but just in case I can't I want to try and describe the issue.  Any help would be appreciated as I am REALLY concerned.

The exterior trim is pulling away from my camper.  Facing the front of the camper on the left side, the bottom trim that runs from the front of the camper to the door has pulled away from the camper.  The trim that goes from the top of the camper to the bottom is pulling away as well.  This is starting to occur on the front of the camper on the right hand side as well.

Why is this happening?  Am I backing up at too sharp of an angle (jack knife) and pulling it apart?  We also have a cargo carries where the tire was stored to haul wood.  Could this be the problem?

Please help!!

It looks like your seals between the camper siding and the trim are failing and letting dirt and moisture in causing the glue to not stick. New glue and redo the seals and you should be fine. Might want to check the caulking on the other areas of the camper as well. The caulking should be checked at least twice a year if not more often.

i wouldn't think that screwing it back on would be a good idea. Hopefully someone with some expertise on trim will chime in on how to correctly reattach the trim.

I took the original screws out of the trim.  Then jacked up the trim and screwed back in.  The trim still pulled away.  Does it need glued first?  With what kind of glue?

I would drill new holes for your screws, that trim is just screwed in place then sealed along the outer surface. If the screws do not hold in the new locations then you may have a bigger problem. Goose
