Bob, mine was a 21 foot, 1991 V6 with 150 of the laziest horses in America! I loved the coach, but the chassis left EVERYTHING to be desired, including the tiny fuel tank. Considered transplanting a 5.0 liter Ford into it, but it still wouldn't be able to tow the Subaru Brat I bought expressly for that purpose, no rear frame to attach a class III hitch. Next time I bought one with a 30' Ford chassis and a 460 cu. in. V8, and towed a Jeep TJ behind it. Never saw a hill I couldn't zip right up, or a gas station I could pass, 6 mpg. But the real problem was the $1000 repairs every time we took it out, gen set, refrigerator, A/C, and on and on. Kept the TJ, sold the coach.

Now I like EVERYTHING about my 'pod, including the tow vehicle, less is more.
