Yes we made it ourselves. It has drawer slides like the other 2 drawers.

[QUOTE=ilovecamping]These are the modifications that's been done so far to our 2014 178 R-Pod.
Built drawer in lower cabinetdrawer_closed.jpgdrawer_open.jpg Would love details of this mod- we've been talking about adding a drawer here as well- gather you made it your self- is it on tracks? thanks Nancy

Here's our latest work - probably can file it under "mods you didn't know you needed" - but my wife didn't like looking at the junk collecting in the netted storage areas. Also did a matching door for the cut-out hole under the right side of dining area bench, as has been shown here before.

nice!
We plan to run a piece along the dinette in the future, just have to figure out how to do the fold out table first

We put a shelf along the front of the rPod..as you can see, it takes a lot of stuff! We also bought a TV for the dinette table. We put in a cable connector in the front of the rPod so we can hook up the TV there. Much easier to see. When we travel, put take the TV and put it on the bed.

Another handy place for that spindle shelf molding is across the top of that raised area at the front end. It makes a handy place for guide books, writing implements, playing cards and other small items. Nice use of space you've done!!

the pictures look a bit distorted... still learning how to resize:)
We are still touching up and working one last shelf to go above the exit window over bed. It will be used to hold the dvd player or direct box near tv mount when needed. We have removed the under cabinet radio. We have plans to add a stereo system under the seat near the door, and add exterior speakers. We have purchased the exterior shower, but might be too afraid to start that project....soon though. We removed the table and will use a small part of it to make a little fold up table to the right of the sink. The remaining part of the original table top will be used to make a smaller fold up table centered between the dinette seats. We also bought an 18x10x34 plastic storage container, added sliders to bottom, and now use it in the under bed cabinet, it slides in & out perfectly like a drawer |
