Per the recommendation of someone else on this forum I have ordered 5 of these.  Although we

won't take delivery of our Rpod 171 till spring I thought this would really

help.  For the price, it seems too good to be true, but I only spent $12.95 for 5 including
shipping.

    Mine didn't come with a "lumens" rating.. or anything else. You only get the "basics" when you do your whole trailer for $20 =/-..

    I can say, I can lay in bed and read comfortably.. play farkle at the dinette without difficulty, and fry bacon and scramble eggs no problem.. Looking under the slideout for a lost dog toy still need a flashlight..lol.

    But we have friends that don't like them at all.. not because they can't "see" by them, they just don't like the "color".. I like the blue/white better than the yellow of the OE bulbs.

    Request of LED purchasers: if you post your opinion on the LEDs you install, would you be kind enough to include the lumins that the LEDs put out?  Last year I decided to replace all of the interior lites with LEDs.  After a long search in the web, I bought what was stated as the brightest LEDs then available which would fit the Pod's light sockets.  After installing, I found that the output was so low compared to the OEM incandescent bulbs, I put most of the OEM bulbs back in.

    We got them at the dealer where we bought the rpod. I'm afraid it is a bit far for you, since it is in Stockton, Calif.! I would think any RV store should carry them.

    We replaced the bulbs in the 2 lights on either side of the kitchen area with LEDs. They are Green LongLife and Next Wave brands, about $20 each. The Green  brand is 18 watt equivilent and uses 2.52 watts, the Next Wave is 20 watt equivalent and uses 3.2 watts. One is "natural white" and the other is "cool white". We put one of each in each fixture and the light is nice and bright, as well as a more natural color. It is a great way to save the battery, since we also dry camp.

    I finally was able to pry open my wallet and let go of a couple of dollars.  Now that the weather is moderating a bit, my thoughts are turning to dry (no hookups) camping.....my favorite.  Since I'll be "battery only" I have been wanting to give this particular product a try:
     
     
    Here is how big they are compared to a dollar bill:
     
     
    I decided to first try 2 of the 6 LED arrays to see how bright they are.  They are very frugal with battery power @ 150ma each.  This equals 3/10th of an amp per fixture!  $11.95 each is a gamble that I can live with.  I'm thinking these will be OK for most areas but, I may want to go with the 10 LED array over the bathroom mirror (for shaving).
     
    I'll let you know what I think of them.  If I like them, I'll order more for 2-3 more light fixtures.
