Good point!

Although I don't have a full cover on my R-POD, I do have a cover for the A/C for just that reason.

I store the pod in a cave, (neighborhood restrictions, can't store at home) so a cover is not needed. I would use one in the Kansas City climate in the winter otherwise.

Wow. We love our cover. With two feet of snow, then freezing rain, more snow, freezing rain, etc. we were worried about water getting in the air conditioner and other places and refreezing. When we took the cover off, this Spring the pod was completely clean- no bird s... or dirt or pealing decal. glad we got it.

I would hate to have to air out and get rid of "musty" smells out of everything.  Here near Atlanta (we're not called HOT-lanta for nothing), we do get high humidity.  Even though I had previously considered an RPod cover, after reading all the posts I am definitely going to pass on this one.

With the humidity here in S. TX.  I think it would be not be a good idea.  We get green stuff on the parts of our car port which don't get much sun.  I can't imagine what it might be like under a cover.

Got one as I pointed out in my post earlier - still debating about whether to continue using it.  Chris wants to build a fancy pagoda (covered) to have it parked under!

There are some pro's and cons apparently.  Its worth thinking about.  The main concern seems to be that its a bad idea to cover the Pod with anything that is not an actual RV cover as it will not breathe and cause mold/mildew.  We left ours uncovered this winter and it was fine.  I don't see them covering trailers at the dealer either.
