I will absolutely give that a try. I hated to use the "dartboard" method but your suggestion does make sense.
I'm glad there's not likely an additional wire playing hide-and-seek. Thank you so much for your response! Cheers

What you are looking at is a double pole, double pole switch with center off. Looks like FR used the same switch for the awning. The slide out is only using one set of “poles” or contacts. Saved FR stocking a different switch. (If the switch ever fails, move the wires to the same unused terminals on the other side.)
The slide out is a DC motor. Reversing polarity to the motor reverses slide out to extend/retract. I believe if you swap orange and white wires your slide out motor polarity will be reversed and match IN/OUT on the label. Good luck!

Greetings,
On our 2022 rPod 202, I removed the 6 screws from the KIB Control Panel located just under the TV. ![]() When I pulled the Panel from the wall, I noticed two wires had become disconnected from the living room slide rocker switch. With the Panel pulled out from the wall laying face-down, I can see that the rocker switch has 6 spade terminals - 3 on the left and 3 on the right. It looked like the two mystery wires (one Orange / White and the other solid White) were probably connected to two of the three spades on the left side of the switch, but I'm not 100% certain. There was only one remaining brown wire that had not come disconnected and was still attached to the upper-right spade. ![]() I have reattached both of the two wires to the right hand terminals on the rocker and I did get the Slide to Extend / Retract, but it's reversed. Extend actually retracts the slide and Retract extends the slide. It's not a big deal, but I would like it to be right. ![]() I feel like there should be 4 wires, but maybe not? Maybe one wire is playing hide and seek in the mass of wires behind the Control Panel? If anyone else has a similar Slide Room rocker, can you advise how your Slide rocker is wired? Does it have 4 wires or only 3? And how are the wires connected? If you actually pull your Control Panel, be careful as some of the spade terminals may be a bit loose and you'll end up with the same issue! Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! |
