Mistakes are learning tools. The only people who don't make mistakes are people that do nothing. you are not an idiot-just another rv owner learning about their rig Vann

I am an idiot!!! Per the posted responses from "winter pod"
and "Rpod-Couplr" I located the GFCI outlet near the floor next to the
refrigerator, pressed the reset, and refrigerator is working again. My head is down with my tail between my legs. ![]() |

I agree with checking the GFI outlet to see if the GFI tripped. But it may also be a problem with the wire to the GFI outlet. My R-Pod 171 brand new had a loose wire at the GFI. That would cause all the other downstream outlets and fridge AC power to be off.

We had been camping for 3 days hooked up to shore power. Everything was working fine. After reaching for a cold one and closing the door, the refrigerator status bar lit up with the “electrical plug” light and the “fault” light blinking, and a beeping signal. I opened and closed the door a few times to no effect. Turned the breaker off/on, turned the shore power box off/on, no effect. Couldn’t solve it so switched to LP and refrigerator worked fine. (also tested on the battery mode, it worked fine)
Later noticed that none of the four electrical outlets worked. When removing the fuses one by one, none were blown, but on 3 of them a red light lit up on the circuit board next to the pulled fuse. (fuses #2, 3, 6) I have limited knowledge of electrical systems, so before I take the rig to a service center, any advice or things to try/test would be helpful. Attached are various photos; and below are some specs. 2014 Forest River R-Pod #178 Hood River edition Dometic refrigerator model RM 8501 WFCO electrical box, model WF-8955PEC ![]() ![]() ![]() |
