Most of us have the RV-queen (or short queen) mattress, which is an odd size, plus, since ours is sideways with essentially zero sides for "slop over", I'm wondering what size comforter you use on the bed. The RV queen is roughly 60" wide by 75" long, so it seems anything larger than that creates a scrunch issue. That size is real close to the size (smaller actually) of a comforter for a standard twin (63x86), so I'm thinking that's close to what we want?

Any other opinions?

We used a queen size comforter in ours and, like you said, it was a sloppy but it worked fine.  My wife tends to be a blanket thief so I was always grateful for the extra coverage of the queen size.

My wife made a quilt with a little overlap but not much so we can make the bed easier in our 179. It works for us.

I had to laugh at this!  My wife must be a sister to your wife as she does the same thing and then gets mad at me when I try to get some of her "excess" back to my side.
