Calendar Event: New Rpod 178 owner Posted: 31 May 2021 at 5:06pm |
We purchased a used 2017 Rpod 178 last fall. I assume it is ok to be on the roof to clean and do maintenance as I have a couple times, but I have never read anything one way or the other. I email Forrest River about it and never heard back. Do folks out there get on their roofs to do maintenance w/o causing any damage structurally. Thanks again for everyone's input.

Buying a 178 is a sign of advanced intelligence.
It's a small roof. Get a long brush. I have never found a need to get on the roof and I have lots of toys. I do have ladders that can reach roof from both sides. fred

I have carefully gotten on the roof several times-to put eternabond tape on the spoiler, to install an Easy Start and to check the edge seals and dicor. Be careful and go up on the side opposite the AC(at least on my 179) as there is more room. Vann
