Actually, the antennae can be setup to receive wifi, but I havn't tried to get it to work. They list a website on the sticker on the window that says "WI-FI Ready" But I think it requires adding two more antennaes to the receiver. The picture shows 4 antennae protruding from the base

Hi Offgrid,
I was wondering exactly where you run the cord from the directional antenna/pole into a storage area?

which I clamp to the front edge of the slide when its extended. There is also an adapter needed to connect the low loss coax cable to the booster, best to call Wilson to get that. You can mount the booster and cable in a storage area, mount the cradle inside the trailer convenient to connect your phone to the TV, and then just pull out the cable, connect it to the antenna, clamp it to the slide, and extend it. Once set up you need to slowly rotate the antenna to maximize signal strength. The whole process takes me about 10 minutes as part of camp setup.

If you have a weak cell signal this system pulls it in well. Most of the time it works great for me, Netflix and HBO streaming no problem. It can't work miracles though, it can't boost a signal that isn't there, so if you're camped in the bottom of a hollow out of line of sight to a cell tower you still won't get anything.

I run it in through the 179’s outside storage door, and from there up at the foot of the bed to the area by the TV where I have a 12V receptacle installed. The cable just stays coiled up in the storage area where I pull it out,
around under the tongue to where I clamp the extension pole to the edge of the slide. I leave the storage door cracked open when I have the cable out. If I’m setting up by myself I connect the cable to the directional antenna, extend the pole, and lay the phone and cradle on the bed next to the open window. Then I rotate the antenna a little at a time and wait for the signal strength to update. That is the most time consuming part
