No way! Range while towing is not going to be great. Stopping for gas every 100 or so miles (which we did when we towed with the Escape before we learned to slow down) is a lot faster than pulling into a charging station and then waiting for a free station that one can get to without unhitching, and then waiting however long it takes for the battery to charge and whatever price that will cost.

Our son found that out with simple winter driving with his Tesla.  Performance dropped by nearly 50% and he lives in the Grand Rapids, MI area.  Also he had a difficult time going up his driveway with snow and ice on it.  So he sold his 2019 Tesla and now drives a Toyota Land Rover, problem solved.

Toyota Land Rover? Hmm, that is a contradiction in terms. I hope you meant Toyota Land Cruiser and not Land Rover. As the Aussies say, if you want to go to the Outback get a Land Rover. If you want to get home afterwards, get a Land Cruiser 😂

I had a 95 LC and it was a beast, unbreakable and unstoppable. We called it the Land Bruiser. But horrible fuel economy, about 13-14 or so in a good day, not towing anything. An LC is kinda an anti-Tesla. As for the Cybertruck and the other electric pickups coming out, they are supposed to have 200kwh plus battery packs. One gallon of gasoline contains about 34 kWh and automotive engines are only about 30% efficiency, so that’s roughly 10 kWh per gallon. So 200 kWh is about equivalent to a 20 gallon fuel tank.

So, I don’t think the range towing with an electric pickup will be that bad. The lack of pull through charging stations is a big drawback though. I think it will depend on your camping mission, If you’re going to a campsite with hookups that’s within range then it could work out great, free charging for the return trip (at least until the campground catches on). If you’re on a cross country adventure not so much, at least not quite yet. The vehicles will be ready soon, it’s the infrastructure that will delay adoption. Not surprising, we’ve been developing the gasoline refueling infrastructure we have now for about 120 years.
