Hi podpal,
I have a 2015 178 which we don't use the A/C and would prefer to replace with a skylight. Do you have any pics of what you did? what type of skylight did you buy? what size hole is up there - 14''x14''? Did you have any luck selling your A/C?

I have recently removed a Dometic A/C unit from my 2016 RPod 178. See: http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13911 It's a model 641915, A/C only (separate heat) and fits in a 14.5" x 14.5" hole. I replaced it with a manual skylight/vent. It's in great shaped. Started once on 20 amp shore power just to see if it worked. It did. Otherwise, never used. It's heavy, so shipping would be problematic. However, I am planning a trip south from MT through ID/UT/NV/AZ next month. So, if you are interested, DM me. Shipping would be free in the bed of my truck. I can take pics and discuss, if you are interested. This would be a good replacement for a well-used one. Chris
