Offgrid addressed the pin issue. I am going to offer a photo tip. Download a version of the GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program) for your system. It is open-source, cross-platform (Linux, OSX, and Windows), and free. You can use that to edit your photos, cropping and resizing them. I find that an 800x600 resolution works very well for posting pictures. I also find that it is helpful to use the GIMP to annotate or highlight areas of interest by drawing arrows and/or circles around them.

That is a 14 pin ribbon cable connector. The female end connected to the ribbon is smooth one one side and has a protrusion on the other. The protrusion needs to align with the open slot on the male side. Also it looks like some of the pins on the male end are bent a bit, they should be uniformly spaced so they can align with the uniformly spaced holes on the female end. Try gently straightening them with needle nose pliers and then press the female connector straight onto the male one.

I can't seem to get my photo uploaded correctly, it's either huge or miniscule.
The plastic plug-in is a red wire from a sensor in between the fins of the condensor, which goes to this plug-in; a ground wire then joins it from the plug-in to the recirculating fan for the fridge which is in the lower mechanical panel. Thanks for the mirror tip! I will try to post a photo of this plug-in again.

Hello Ampete, Welcome! I can't see from your picture what you are trying to show. The picture is too small to see. Have you tried a mirror to help you see? The wood is there for a purpose. It helps to make the air flow over the fins so that the refrigerator will work properly so you can't just remove it to see better.

Anybody with experience trying to plug in the electrical connection for the fridge fan in the upper mechanical panel? The plug is just below the condenser fins. In this photo, it is the gray plug-in. I can put it in its slot with needle nose pliers, only to a certain degree before it stops. It's definitely not plugged all the way in. In pod fashion, there's a wooden wall in my way, so I don't have a straight shot to see any tabs that might be stopping it. Tabs? Push up? Push Down? Anybody?
