OK.  I was really interested in one of the Thule systems.  In this case, I assume I would have to mount to the roof?

A slot for awning to secure in, sounds like you do. Not THULE compatible. Won't be structural good. You need an awning that uses the keder.

Hi Mike,

I'm not sure what a keder rail is but I suspect its a roof rail of some sort?

It does have the rail system for the r-dome but I think that's it.

Does it have a keder rail? There is wall mods needed to install a THULE. If it has a keder rail, its not THULE ready. Look for a visor from PahaQue.

Hi everyone,

I'm a proud new owner. I've been looking at rpods for many years and finally pulled the trigger this spring. Because of the tremendous demand for rvs this year, I had to buy mine sight unseen from an out-of-state dealer.  I made the assumption that it came with the Thule awning but I was mistaken Ouch

Are there any recommendations for the best awning that will fit my 176?  I'm ok with a manual awning and am considering installing myself since my local shop is booked out over a month.

Thanks in advance
John
