We raised the dinette table but can't figure out how it goes back down. Can someone please tell us how to unlock it so it can be put back down?

Pulling the black round knob on the left side of the table frame in this picture releases the catch that holds the top up. The top has
to be pulled away from the wall to allow the hinges in the legs to fold.
The table will fold down real easy if you pull the top away from the
wall while while keeping the feet of the legs from moving. The table
will fold down to the height of the bed, then slide it back in place up
against the wall. |

I remember the first time I raised and lowered mine. I was scratching my head saying, "how the heck". Problem is, it's to easy lol.

Our table does not seem to have any knob. There's nothing to pull. Maybe a different design?

Still can't find out where to unlock it. We have a round yellow button but it doesn't "pull" or unlock anything. And there's no other pin or knob to pull.

Turn the table upside down. Now, move the support legs up and down until you find the pivot points. From there you should be able to locate the locking mechanism.

On the Forest River Forum someone asked the same question about lowering the table that has a yellow Button.
Here's one reply: "There is a latch with a spring beside the yellow button. When you release the latch the table collapses sideways like a camel going down, lol." Link to that thread: https://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/f34/how-to-lower-dinette-table-40740.html |
