Calendar Event: R-POD Cover Posted: 27 Oct 2019 at 11:21am |
I never use a cover, Haven't had an issue. I been told by some you MUST use one, and others say it's not needed. I don't know who's right, but my first pod, a 172 was uncovered for the first three winters i had it. Never had any problem. Just dust the snow off after a storm. My 2 cents

I wanted to but Etrailer wouldn't agree to it. I even offered to pay extra for the higher priced model, but they said they had to replace it with the exact same one.

Hi again OldNeumanntapr: Etrailer does not do the warranty. I tried that myself. Contact
Classic Accessories in Kent Washington the manufacture and they will except the warranty. They will want a couple of pictures and a copy of the receipt from etrailer. I have purchased several items through etrailer and found they are a hit & miss. Seems like more miss sometimes. Classic Accessories were very nice to do business with. I had a new cover within two to three days.
Steve & Sandy see you @ the R-pod rally in August!

Greetings: My cover just went on for the start of the 5th season. It's done well. We get lots of snow and ice in MN and it preserves the finish and decals. I put blocks under the tires and cover them too.

Mjlrod,
Like you I have gone coverless for 4 years, no issues. When I was using cover the mold was heavy.

Does anyone have an update on a cover for a 196 (or 195)? I have been looking and unable to find one.
Thanks

And the Perma Pro Cover comes with a "lifetime warranty." They had a black Friday 40% off sale..you might see if that's still on.
