Topic: battery not charging Posted: 14 Aug 2019 at 11:01am |
Keep an eye on it. Here's a good chart to work from. As a simple rule, 12v's not below 75%, 6v's not below 50% Gel's and AGM's can be pushed a bit deeper, yet as. standard/simple rule, it works well.

If I'm reading this correctly, sounds like you are getting charge to the battery, and the battery is not excepting.
I agree fully with Offgrid, get out your multimeter and start trouble-shooting.
With Shore/TV unhooked, take a reading off the battery and record this number. Then hookup shore and record this number. Please report back with findings.

If everything is fine when plugged in, your converter is fine.
If your battery isn't taking a charge, it's the battery or it's wiring.

If it runs on shore power, that would mean the converter is providing 12V. It may just be a bad battery, or a loose connection to the battery/ies.

The charger isn't used when charging from your TV, so if you're having problems with both power sources perhaps its not the sources at all, it could be your battery that isn't holding a charge. If it hasn't been replaced since the trailer was new in 2015/16 that is quite likely. Do you have a multimeter you could troubleshoot this with?
