Hello r.pod forum,
Just bought a 2011 Rpod 173T today. The previous owner had taken good care of it and I was impressed by how well thought out the design and construction was. No questions yet but I am sure they will come as I play with my new toy. My wife and I are recently retired and hope to take it on a cross country trip in the future.

congratulations and welcome!!
We had a 173 for about 5 years and loved it. We traveled across country several times-so I know you can do it!

Congratulations on your new acquisition and retirement.  We hope you enjoy your Pod as much as we have enjoyed ours.  Getting a used Pod in good condition is a smart way to go.  All the bugs that it may have had have been fixed. You have gained the benefit of avoiding the substantial drive the new trailer off the lot depreciation and now have a very durable trailer that will give you years of service and lots of tinkering projects.  You'll find lots of helpful info here on the board.

Congratulations from a fellow 2011 owner.  Even though we have owned our 177 for over 8 years we still get excited to go and explore.  Sure it will be the same for you.  Congratulations on your retirement as well, I just did that last December, pretty nice isn't it?

As questions come up, ask away, many seasoned veterans here ready to give you a hand with helpful advice.  I have been blessed and helped by many others here over the years.
