   Check out Liberty Harbor it is just a parking lot with hook-ups but it is just across the river from the city.

	I want to stay outside NYC and drive to a train terminal to go into manhattan. I am not pulling a trailer into NYC. Long Island would be an option. That way I would miss all the city traffic.

	Check out NY's Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation web site for information about camping in state parks in NY. The link is: https://parks.ny.gov/camping/campsites/default.aspx Other than that, you could use the RV Parky app to locate campsites. I have used this app quite a bit. There are several listed in the Niagara Falls area, both on the US and Canadian sides. It also lists several areas on Long Island, but not much choice in NY City itself.

	I'm not sure about NYC but on your way to Niagara Falls it would be a good idea to plan a couple of days in the Finger Lakes region. Lot's of state parks, small towns & beautiful scenery in the area. Skaneateles is a nice little town.

	Can anybody provide camping info for the New York City area? I have bee to NYC in a car and it was frightening. Want a place we can camp and drive to a train or subway terminal. Also the Niagara Falks area. Camp grounds?
