The plastic plate in front of the screen door handle on my 2015 178 has broken*.  I'm wondering if I can find just that part?  There is a local dealer and I may check with them but is there an on-line site with maybe some parts diagrams or micro fiche?

Would appreciate anything,  Mick

*I think the main door closes too tight and has caused it to crack

I had the same problem.  Mine broke near the top , below the top screw hole. I think it comes from the plastic handle being pushed out when the door is closed. I made a metal plate that is  the same size and thickness with holes in the same place.  paint it black and screw it on. It will last forever.

I had the same problem. As far as I can see, there is NO metal plate available. Even if the advertised latch says its metal, the plate is still plastic.

Great idea!  And one of my RV buddies owns a machine shop.  Thanks

I don't throw much away!! I used the side of an old desktop computer case.  It was strong , free and available.  I cut it to the exact size, drilled the 2 holes, painted it black and it will last forever

Maybe I should start a business selling them!! would $50 be too much??
Just kidding

Sheet of aluminum from Menard's.  Cut it to fit, a couple of screws, low cost, no paint, won't rust, light weight.
