Hey Mike,

This past summer it got a bit chilly while camping so we turned on the furnace.  We store some gear under the bed so I grabbed a baking sheet and placed it at an angle in front of the furnace to direct the heat away from the gear and into the trailer.  Worked better than expected.

So, using some scrap wood and the “keep it simple” mantra, I made a frame with a hinged front door and attached it around and in front of the furnace.  I stuck some Velcro dots on the frame to keep the door closed when not in use.

Had a chance to try it out this fall.  Just opened the door panel and angled it to deflect the heat out from under the bed.  Simple solution and worked great.

I’ll try to get some picture to share in a day or two.

Jim
