I have a 2017 172 and the other day I connected my water hose to the fitting on the side of my pod to wash out the waste water tank.  The tank had already been emptied at the campground but I was doing an additional clean out with my water hose out near my barn.   Well, after I drained the waste tank, I drove off without disconnecting my water hose and broke the nipple off the side of my camper.  Did not hurt the camper at all, just broke the nipple off.  So, I need a replacement nipple.  Anyone out there have any suggestions rather than going back to the dealer.  I know this is probably not a high dollar item, but if there is an aftermarket or other alternative, would you please let me know.

Thank you very much.

If someone with a 172 same year could chime in and see what manufacturer made it you could track down a replacement that way. I would say call the factory but in the RV industry they change out parts suppliers frequently so doubt if they would know.

It's a generic part, any RV shop will have them, amazon, ebay, etc. about $10, 3 -4 screws, hose clamp, silicone.
