We are having a hard time deciding if the homemade Key Lime pie is better in North Carolina or in South Carolina!
I have tried each state a couple times. Any thoughts ?

Well, I have not had either. However, if you will send me one of each (whole pies, FedEx overnight OK), I'll be happy to render a verdict!

I am also from NC---but disagree.  Adding a new element to the discussion---
the BEST key lime pie is in Key West

Hmmmmm didn’t think of Key West, did have some key lime pie there a few years back...........it was really good!,,

 What color is your Key Lime Pie?  If it's green, it's bogus.  Key Lime Pie is "subdued yellow".

Never had a homemade key lime pie that wasn't tremendous to my taste buds.  They are all very good IMHO.
