New Sheriff in town!

There is a new Sheriff in town and, rumor is, that he shoots first and asks questions later. Also, he kills all of the witnesses!   

Unless you've just joined the group in the last few days/weeks, you already know him. Over the years he has spent countless hours helping folks both on and off the forum. His knowledge of Pods, TT and camping (in general) is unsurpassed. Over the years, he has gained the respect of and is well liked by many (myself included).

Furpod, being helpful as usual, is now going to be helping in moderating and maintaining the forum. In doing so, he is further demonstrating his concern for others and his dedicated commitment to you and I.

What else can I say but............

Fortunately, members on this forum are pretty well-behaved, so moderation shouldn't be too bad. I'm a moderator on a forum with nearly a quarter of a million members and it's a thankless job. As I'm sure it is here, I'm a volunteer, so I don't get paid to take the abuse either. I sometimes wonder why I do it, but I'm in a position to help people, which I enjoy.

SHHHH....don't tell him that! I told him all about the money, fame, women, liquor, etc. We don't want him to find out the truth until it's too late!

Well, it's not mandatory but, perhaps you should seize the opportunity to give all of us a clue regarding your moderating "style".

I'm thinking something like a quote from a "Dirty Harry" movie like: "Do you feel lucky, PUNK!"

Travis isn't afraid to give someone a timeout though. He gave me one once, deservedly so. My flippant remarks sometimes go astray.
