I had better ears when I was in high school.

True audiophiles accept the sacrifice that needs to be made.
On a side note, the Lance system isn't bad either..

I've only turned on the stock system a few times. The Bose Soundlink does the trick but the tinkerer in me is thinking of a stereo upgrade with sub-woofers. It is shocking that they would send out new Pods with such an awful "stereo".

What you realize with all mass produced campers is that they often use inexpensive components so that they can sell these fully featured units at decent price. Think I saw the stock outdoor speakers on etrailer.com for $27. The mattress was a joke, but cured that by cutting six inches off a home memory foam mattress I was replacing. Cut like buttah with an electric kitchen knife. Now sleep on 10" of foam, but making the bed is always a workout, but its worth it. Friends have a $70K Airstream, and you know what, they have issues too and thing weighs 8000 lbs. Imagine their abysmal gas mileage. I get 17 mpg when not in mountains. Still think the Rpod a good value and turns heads.

Agreed.. the R-Pod is, in it's market, a great deal. We loved ours, and most probably will have another. Mattresses are always discussed, but I am very happy they used a cheap one, because mattress comfort is VERY personal. And I would hate to have pulled a $600 mattress out because I didn't like it and then replace it with another that I did.
Interesting note on gas mileage, Towing our 31 foot Airstream, and our R-Pod 177 with the same Ford Expedition, 5.4 V8, max tow package, we got slightly BETTER mileage with the 'stream. Just more aero.. and we got nearly the same mileage when we switched from the Pod to our Lance.

I have a 2015 178, love it. What do people do to play blue ray movies through this? Only regular DVD's play through mine. What are people doing to get around that on this Jensen?

Bring a BluRay player along with you and plug it into the TV via HDMI.
