Zactly. He adjusted them in to allow drum removal and didn't adjust back. Guaranteed.

Okay, Fixed. Actually it was quite simple. The brakes were out of adjustment. The original mech said he did not touch the shoes. NOT SO. Thanks again for the support.

Thanks again for all the information, and I know you are all trying to help, but it’s still something that I can’t deal with. I will let you know what the trailer specialists do to fix it.

The brake guy simply took the wheel and drum off, and looked to see if the bearing pack was done. He said everything that he was supposed to do was done. What could I do. It was my word that the brakes were good before the repack. I have an appointment Tuesday at a shop thst builds trailers. Again, Thanks.

I know, but I was trying to search for a cause and effect. You shouldn't have to open up the brakes at all for a bearing re-pack, but something went wrong here.

Igblau could do that if he wants on one wheel. Pull the tire and wheel on one side. Use a 1/4 spade jumper with a fuse. Jump from the 11 to 7 positions on the 7 pin as you look at it, with the alignment lug on top (12) position. The brake should push the shoes out to contact the hub. The hub should be hard or impossible to turn by hand. If not the shoes are not contacting the hub.
