Essentially, it will be like your previous experiences, but just longer. Make sure your 179 is in good shape before you leave. Check the torque of the lug nuts and the torque of your hitch if the manual specifies. Check your battery/batteries for the appropriate amount of electrolyte unless it/they are maintenance free and add distilled water if needed to make sure the level is above the plates (or have it done for you). Keep track of your gas use. While the refrigerator and stove don't use much, the water heater does use more so if you don't want to run out, have a spare tank or take the tank to be filled before it is critical. You don't want to run out in the middle of the night since the battery will not run the refrigerator for more than a brief period before it too is discharged. Also, go through and make sure all water fittings and drain fittings are tight and won't leak while you are on the trip. Other than this, it is the normal maintenance such as using rubber seal conditioner/lubricant on the rubber seals around the slide-out, door, and windows and lubricating the slide-out track. One other thing to check is the hanger straps for the black and gray water drains. Make sure those are tight. You don't want one of them to come loose and drop on to the pavement. I had that happen with the black water drain. Things can go wrong, but don't worry too much about it. Most likely, you will be fine. Just be observant of what is going on with your tow vehicle and RP179. On top of everything, have fun and enjoy your trip.
