Leo, don't get any ideas.  In South America you could get away with it but here in America?  If you took them out you would probably go to jail.  However, they are really, really tasty.  I am a fan of PETA, "People Eating Tasty Animals."

In the everglades they have some kind of a bounty I believe on Pythons. They have been found eating small deer. They are upsetting the balance of nature not being native to south Florida. A full size alligator is able to survive being attacked by a Python. And if gets very cold some pythons will die. Hunting seems to be the only way to control their population.

Nice of folks to get a pet of any kind, find they don't want it or can't control and turn it lose. Feral cats and dogs, snakes, etc. Then other stuff released like Asian Carp and that fish that eats everything in Maryland. AND the species the government imported to handle some problem then they found out it doesn't do that, like Tilapia and Nutria. I remember when they put Tilapia in the irrigational canals in AZ to handle algae, ever try and bait a hook with algae?

Here I am at the other end of the Bacon, Bacon truckLOL.  Believe it or not, my mother, from the old country (Germany) rarely used bacon except for a garnish in her german potato salad or for wrapping breast meat when we ate pheasant, rabbit, or squirrel.  Really, that was it, she may have used 2 lbs/year, if that.  On the other hand, we were raised on "Canadian bacon", now that is some really good stuff, no fat, and yet, still extremely flavorful.  So let's give a big round of applause to our neighbors to the north, like you marwayne!

Love Canadian bacon, but I think our friends up north refer to it as "back bacon" or something like that. To us 'mericans, it's more like smoked pork chops, and quite similar to ham in flavor.
